MLS Preseason: D.C. United vs. Montreal Impact - streaming, time, lineups and GameThread

This afternoon is the group-stage finale of the Disney Pro Soccer Classic, and D.C. United will kick off the day's action against the Montreal Impact. The result will help determine where each side finishes in the group standings and so who and when United will play in the tournament's final round next Saturday. Our man Stephen Whiting is on the scene down in Florida - great timing, by the way, to leave during a very spring-like end of the week in D.C. but before last night's cold snap - and hopefully he'll be able to check in from time to time. If not, though, he's promised to write up his thoughts later in the weekend.

Projected D.C. Lineup: I wonder whether today will be the day that Olsen mixes things up at the start or whether we'll see another all-first-choice lineup for the first half hour, as we did against Kansas City. A coin flip tells me the former, so I'll say Bill Hamid starts in net, with a back four of Chris Korb, Shavar Thomas (trialist), Dejan Jakovic and Daniel Woolard. I figure our first choice central midfield pairing of Perry Kitchen and Marcelo Saragosa will start, with trialists Marcos Sanchez and Kyle Porter on the outside. On the front line, we'll get our first taste of Dwayne De Rosario paring new young Designated Player Rafael Gladiador - at least, that's what I'm hoping for.
