Preseason: D.C. United vs. Sporting Kansas City - streaming, time, lineups and GameThread - MLS opposition at long last!

We've seen what D.C. United can do to NASL opposition in preseason. Now it's time for the real thing (in preseason). Tonight, the Black-and-Red take on Sporting Kansas City and their high-pressure 4-3-3 in a match that will pit the top two MLS Eastern Conference sides from last season. We've got the video up above, and we have a separate post for it linked down below if you'd prefer that.

Time: 6 p.m.

Venue: ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Projected Lineup: I think we'll see something pretty similar to the game against Tampa Bay, as Ben Olsen gets his side comfortable with each other and builds their fitness. There will be some trialists sprinkled in, though, so that we get a chance to really evaluate them. Look for at least a half of Bill Hamid in goal and a back four of Chris Korb, Brandon McDonald, Dejan Jakovic and Daniel Woolard. I think we get Perry Kitchen and Marcelo Saragosa in central midfield with trialists Marcos Sanches and Kyle Porter on the wings. Up top, we may get our first look at Rafael (though I think we're more likely to see Lionard Pajoy again) and the captain, Dwayne De Rosario.

What Are You Drinking?: A friend is cooking dinner for my wife and me at AMT Studios tonight, and I've got my eye on some Chianti we have sitting around.
