The leader this round was Losada Legionnaires, with a score of 122 points.

At the top of the table, Check Joself has retaken the overall lead after scoring 111 points in the round, and now leads by 1 point.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers

NYCFC’s Luis Barraza ($4.7) led the goalkeepers with 11 points on a clean sheet, just ahead of Joe Willis (NSH, $7.6) who kept a clean sheet and scored 10 points. A trio of players tied for third with 9 points, as William Yarbrough (COL, $7.8) and Eloy Room (CLB, $7.5) kept a clean sheet, and Alex Bono (TOR, $5.3) made 13 saves for 4 bonus points. For DCU, Bill Hamid ($6.7) scored 7 points.

Defenders

There was a tie atop the defenders, with Jonathan Mensah (CLB, $7.6) pairing a goal and a clean sheet for 18 points, and Malte Amundsen (NY, $4.0) doing the same, plus an assist. Both were part of a three-way tie for the overall lead. In third was Lalas Abubakar (COL, $7.1), who scored 15 points on a goal and a clean sheet. Andy Najar ($7.7) led the United defense with 10 points, followed by Antonio Alfaro ($4.6) with 9 points, Frederic Brillant ($5.5) with 8, and Steven Birnbaum ($4.2) with 1.

Midfielders

New England’s Arnor Traustason ($5.2) led the midfielders with a brace and 17 points, ahead of Maxi Moralez (NY, $9.1), who scored 16 points on a goal and an assist. Carles Gil (NE, $13.0) rounded out the top three with two assists and 14 points. For D.C., Julian Gressel ($8.6) led with 13 points, followed by Junior Moreno ($7.4) with 7, Kevin Paredes ($5.4) with 6, Felipe Martins ($4.0) with 5, Drew Skundrich ($5.1) with 4, and the pair of Yamil Asad ($5.9) and Moses Nyeman ($4.0) with 2.

Forwards

Ricardo Pepi (DAL, $6.1) scored a hat trick on the way to 18 points, leading the forwards and completing the overall leader trio. Gustavo Bou (NE, $10.8) was second with a brace and 15 points, and CJ Sapong (NSH, $6.5) added an assist to his two goals for 14 points. The scoring DCU forwards were Ola Kamara ($9.6) with 7 points, Yordy Reyna ($4.8) with 4, Nigel Robertha ($6.2) with 2, and Griffin Yow ($4.5) with 1.

Looking Ahead

Minnesota plays twice this round, and everyone else plays once. I’m holding my breath and taking Bill Hamid in goal @ Cincinnati. In defense I like Auston Trusty (COL, $8.8) @ Austin, and in midfield it’s Jamiro Monteiro (PHI, $9.7) vs. Chicago. At forward, I feel good about Raul Ruidiaz (SEA, $9.3) getting back amongst the goals vs. San Jose.
