Happy Wednesday, everyone. I’m in Austin for the USWNT match against Nigeria that’s tonight, as we open up Austin FC’s Q2 Stadium. I preview the match over at Stars & Stripes FC if you want to see what to watch out for this evening. Before that, the big news from yesterday:
Concacaf completed its Second Round of World Cup qualifying, and now the USMNT knows its complete road to Qatar. It all begins in September in El Salvador.
Lower.com is the new name of the Columbus Crew stadium that’s opening next month. They could have had a better name for that.
In advance of Juneteenth this weekend, one of the D.C. United supporters groups needs your help:
Hey ya’ll! We at @RoseRoomCo are crowdsourcing a list of DC’s favorite Black-owned businesses. If there’s anything you’d like to add, please add it to our community google doc! https://t.co/gcOBqkF3Mw— Aaron (@dcdoubleaa) June 15, 2021
Looks like this is being released tonight!
Short FKs, but that’s it for today. Hope you all tune into the WNT match tonight!
