Washington Spirit announce end-of-season roster moves

The champs are keeping the team mostly together, with the three players waived combining for 6 appearances.

Every year, around MLS Cup, the rumor comes out about a new development in the New England Revolution’s search for a stadium of their own. Also, it happens to be the time of season ticket renewals. And then every year, nothing happens. I hope the Revs get their stadium, but I’ll be duly skeptical until there are shovels in the ground (just like we all felt before Audi Field).

Referees are trying to unionize, but all of the soccer bodies are trying to prevent it from happening.
