ST JOHN led the league this round with 94 points, with extra credit for picking 11 players that should have played (counting Zdeněk Ondrášek’s surprise transfer to Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic.)

I’m giving myself an honorable mention for finishing one point behind the leaders. Bayern Neverlusen is the overall leader.
Positional Leaders
Goalkeepers
RSL’s Andrew Putna ($4.3) set the pace with a clean sheet and 10 points. Right behind was the pair of Ryan Meara (NYR, $7.3) and Luis Robles (MIA, $6.7) with 9 points on the strength of a clean sheet for Meara and a penalty save for Robles. DCU’s Chris Seitz ($5.6) scored 3 points.
Defenders
Seattle’s Joevin Jones ($7.9) lit up San Jose with two goals, two assists, and 21 points, leading all defenders and all players, well ahead of Aaron Long (NYR, $8.5), with a goal and a clean sheet for 14 points. Sam Vines (COL, $5.0) rounded out the top three with 13 points on a clean sheet and a goal. The United defense was led by Donovan Pines ($8.4) and Frederic Brillant ($9.2) with 4 points each, followed by the trio of Joseph Mora ($4.0), Oneil Fisher ($4.0), and Chris Odoi-Atsem ($4.0) with 1 point.
Midfielders
Dax McCarty (NSH, $8.2) somehow scored 19 points on a goal and three assists. Meanwhile, Saphir Taïder (MTL, $10.3) tallied a goal and two assists for 18 points, and Miami’s Lewis Morgan ($9.5) had a brace and 16 points. The D.C. midfield featured Mohammed Abu ($5.5) with 7 points; Junior Moreno ($8.5) with 6; Julian Gressel ($8.7) and Kevin Paredes ($6.6) with 4; and the trio of Yamil Asad ($4.7), Ulises Segura ($4.0), and Federico Higuain ($4.0) with 1.
Forwards
The Seattle pair of Raul Ruidiaz ($13) and Jordan Morris ($10.7) scored 20 points each, with Ruidiaz contributing two goals and two assists, and Morris putting up a goal and three assists. Behind them was Gyasi Zardes (CLB, $104.), with a goal, an assist, and 13 points. For DCU, Gelmin Rivas ($5.2) scored 3 points, followed by Ola Kamara ($4.9) with 2, and Erik Sorga ($5.1) with 1.
Looking Ahead
Dallas, Colorado, San Jose, Portland, Vancouver, and Montreal all play twice. At goalkeeper I like Clement Diop (MTL, $8.6) @ Vancouver and vs. Philadelphia. In defense, I’m going with Auro (TOR, $8.7) at toothless DCU, and in the midfield it’s Alejandro Pozuelo (TOR, $14.8). At forward, I like Gyasi Zardes @ Nashville.
