Surprise! MLS Fantasy came back. Dark during the MLS is Back tournament, it’s been back for two rounds. I only knew because I happened to login on a whim and see that I had points. You have points too! Needless to say, Fantasy Focus is back.
The leader for the round was BL4CKnRED, with 92 points.

Positional Leaders
Goalkeepers
Quentin Westberg (TOR, $8.2), Przemyslaw Tyton (CIN, $7.0), and Joe Willis (HOU, $4.1) each posted a clean sheet amid a three-way tie for first with 9 points. DCU’s Chris Seitz ($4.0) played, but conceding four goals will help you along to 0 points.
Defenders
The pair of Walker Zimmerman (NSH, $8.5) and Anton Tinnerholm (NYC, $7.2) led the defenders with 11 points, with Zimmerman posting a clean sheet and Tinnerholm a goal and an assist. Toronto’s Chris Mavinga ($8.4) had a clean sheet and 10 points. For D.C., the pair of Donovan Pines ($6.4) and Axel Sjoberg ($4.7) both scored 3 points, while Joseph Mora ($4.0) scored 2.
Midfielders
Chris Mueller (ORL, $8.9) easily led the midfielders with 17 points on a goal, an assist, and 5 bonus points. Behind him, the pair of Sebastian Lletget (LAG, $8.4), with a goal and an assist, and Diego Chara (POR, $7.1), with a goal, scored 12 points each. The United midfield was led by Julian Gressel ($10.4) with 8 points, followed by Junior Moreno ($6.7) with 6, Felipe Martins ($6.2) with 5, Kevin Paredes ($5.4) and Ulises Segura ($4.) with 3, and the trio of Yamil Asad ($6.4), Moses Nyeman ($4.0), and Mohammed Abu ($4.0) with 1 each.
Forwards
Philadelphia’s Kacper Przybylko added an assist to two goals on the way to 19 points, leading all forwards and all players. Trailing him were Corey Baird (RSL, $7.4), who scored 14 points on a goal and two assists, and Jordan Morris (SEA, $10.4), who scored 13 points on two goals. Griffin Yow ($4.0) led the DCU forwards with 2 points, followed by Ola Kamara ($6.6) and Erik Sorga ($5.3) with 1.
Looking Ahead
I’m sticking with Quentin Westberg in goal in the hopes that he has a clean sheet against either Montreal or the Western Conference’s doormat, Vancouver. In defense, I’ve got Anton Tinnerholm @NE and @DCU, and in the midfield I have the armband on Alejandro Pozuelo (TOR, $14.0). At forward I’m making a budget play with Daryl Dike (ORL, $7.0) @NSH and vs. ATL.
