Well things got all busy-like on Friday and kept going I guess, so let’s track back shall we?
Recaps of the Houston Dash winning 2-0 over the Chicago Red Stars to claim the first sports trophy in the Covid-19 world by Dynamo Theory, Hot Time in Old Town, WaPo and SI.

D.C. United and Paul Arriola strike deal on long-term contract extension (WaPo): Hey look, a signing! Barring a surprise, expect this to be announced today.
Revealed: MLS’s tentative plan for resuming season in home markets (Athletic, $): Hrm.
Sources: D.C. United exploring stadium alternatives due to COVID-19 regulations (Athletic, $): Hrm!
DC United Trio of Youngsters Could be Part of Promising USMNT Future (One Goal): Assuming this season restart thing actually happens, will be interesting to see what’s done with the kids be it Loudoun or D.C.
D.C. United legend Jaime Moreno might lose eye after golfing accident (WaPo): If you haven’t already, feel free to donate. The Sun (yes, really) covers it in the UK for Middlesbrough.
Abuelos paternos de Edison Flores están infectados con la COVID-19 (Libero): D.C.’s Designated Player is dealing with some hard family times at the moment, with his grandmother and father dealing with Covid, and a plea for aid for the former (oxygen has already been delivered). As one who went through a similar ordeal with his family, I hope his pulls through.
Ashley Sanchez Wins 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup Future Legend Award (Washington Spirit): Well-deserved. Not sure about the Rose Lavelle Best XI nod, but to each their own.
Calvin Miller’s Celtic return dream and the Brendan Rodgers prophecy he’s determined to fulfill (Daily Record): So Calvin Miller saw out his contract at Celtic FC while rehabbing a ligament (read: ACL or LCL) surgery, and apparently D.C. United’s name was mentioned, along with Minnesota United FC. Miller is a 22-year-old left back, coming off an injury, and was trailing at SC Amiens, where onetime D.C. target Bakaye Dibassy was, but coincidentally appears to be headed to Minny. So, assuming this is even close to true, D.C. will have tamped down Dibassy’s interest to take this on? Pass. Anyway, that’s what I know.
Finally, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost team up for another supernatural project, though this one looks closer to Paul than it does Shaun of the Dead. Behold “Truth Seekers”:
