Happy Earth Day, everyone. It’s a different one this year, as we continue to stay at home and help flatten the curve against coronavirus. The Earth is getting a reprieve from the stress we put on it every day with all of us at home, but let’s continue to think of ways to save the planet on this day.

Serie A clubs unanimously vote to finish season with government OK - ESPNFC
Serie A voted to restart the league so they could finish the season. Training could begin as soon as May 4th, when Italy is expected to bring to an end their nationwide lockdown. They would join the Bundesliga as top flight leagues that are on a path to resume matches. Germany has allowed the Bundesliga to chart a plan to safely restart their season on May 9th.
Dutch top flight likely to be cancelled after major events ban extended - BBC
The Netherlands has extended its ban on all major events, including sporting events, until September 1st. That means the Eredivisie season will likely be canceled since there is no way for them to resume before then. La Liga players are also pushing back against the league’s plans to resume training, as they don’t feel Spain has turned the corner enough to get back on the field safely.
Fan poll: Seattle, Portland own the title of best road trip in MLS - MLS
The Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers are the teams fans most want to see on an away trip. D.C. United was T-19th on the poll, and it should have been way higher. Whatever, if people don’t want to come see us, that’s their loss.

Women’s European Championship: Uefa to confirm tournament moved to July 2022 - BBC
More coronavirus postponements, as UEFA will move the Women’s Euros from 2021 to 2022. This will allow the tournament to not clash with the men’s Euros, which were rescheduled to summer 2021.

Mike Petke has settled his lawsuit against Real Salt Lake stemming from his firing for a homophobic tirade directed at a referee after a Leagues Cup match last year.
