MLS admits that their timeline of restarting the season in mid-may is “extremely unlikely,” and they now are open about the fact that the season schedule could be shortened as this coronavirus hiatus continues. Our friend Adam has a nice solution!
US Soccer Development Academy program set to be terminated - Stars & Stripes FC
First reported in The Athletic, U.S. Soccer appears to be ending its Development Academy for both the men and the women. What comes of this is anyone’s guess.
Josh Sargent: USMNT enjoying ‘dream situation’ with young talent - ESPNFC
Josh Sargent says the young core of the United States Men’s National Team is really tight and it’s a “dream situation” that so many of them are involved with the senior national team. Let’s hope that their close relationships with each other can help take the USMNT back to the top of the region and challenge down the line for World Cup glory.
