Hello friends! This day has been crazy busy, so that’s why this is an afternoon installment of Freedom Kicks. I’ve been getting my template for my holiday cards ready, so it really is almost the end of the year!
To the links:
Washington Spirit acquire USWNT defender Kelley O’Hara from Utah Royals FC
This is a big deal! The Washington Spirit have acquired Kelley O’Hara, a USWNT starter, for much less than the rumor was a month or two ago. The fact that O’Hara already lives here likely made it difficult for Utah to keep her, but her experience and her quality will improve the Spirit next year (if she can stay healthy).

Not a super big fan of this one! Armas did well with the team that Jesse Marsch built, but got worse over time since. We’ll see if he can turn that around if he comes to D.C. United.
Paul Arriola, speaking at #USMNT camp, says that he has been able to hit his pre-injury high speed. #DCU

I do like this one a lot, however! We need speedy Paul back.
Anyways, that’s all I’ve got with the time crunch. What’d I miss?
