Well the winter just got interesting! Off we go:

Recaps of D.C. United’s 2-1 loss to the Chicago Fire by us and MLS. Hot Time in Old Town with the other side.

Ben Olsen’s D.C. United exit means the club must now evolve anew (The Athletic, $): Here’s hoping!

There is a proven winner D.C. United should consider for its coaching job: Jill Ellis (WaPo): This doesn’t scream like an organizational message to me but what do I know.

Ben Olsen Was D.C. United’s History on Display (SI): Nicely written by Brian.

Episode 9 - Andi Sullivan, Andi Sullivan, and Andi Sullivan (Plex Weather): Wonder what Jason talks about here.

Curtin now second longest tenured active coach in MLS after Ben Olsen dismissal (Brotherly Game): Nice look by Jim Curtin at his friend. MLS with more.

TRAINING SOUND | Nick DeLeon - October 9, 2020 (TFC): Nick is asked about Ben’s leaving around the 5:30 mark and he has some feelings on it. Ben took a chance on Nick at the draft as Nick got dinged a little for personal problems and injuries, and the result was a guy who scored one of the memorable goals of D.C.’s last decade, and has played more games than almost anyone (save Matt Hedges) from that 2012 MLS SuperDraft class. I imagine he feels something about it.

Finally here’s Walton Goggins in...whatever this is:
