West Knox United remains at the top of the league overall by 22 points.
Positional Leaders
Goalkeepers
Clint Irwin (COL, $4.6) posted a clean sheet and seven points, leading the goalkeepers, Matt Turner (NE, $6.6) scored 5 points, and Steve Clark (POR, $7.7) scored 4.
Defenders
Colorado’s Keegan Rosenberry’s ($6.1) clean sheet and assist led the defenders and tied the lead among all players with 13 points. His teammate, Lalas Abubakar ($6.0), posted a clean sheet and 9 points, good enough for a tie with Toronto’s Auro ($8.4), who also had a clean sheet.
Midfielders
Marky Delgado (TOR, $8.4) led the midfielders with a goal, an assist, and 12 points, just ahead of Jesus Medina, who scored 11 points on two goals. Nick DeLeon (TOR, $5.8) rounded out the top three with 10 points on the strength of a goal.
Forwards
Rapids players led three of four positions, as Andre Shinyashiki ($6.3) scored two goals, leading the forwards and tying for the overall lead with 13 points. Behind him, Diego Rossi (LA, $9.5) scored a goal and 8 points, while Patrick Mullins (TOR, $4.7) scored a goal and 7 points.
Looking Ahead
Everyone is back in action, and eight teams play twice — NYC, Toronto, Houston, Minnesota, Colorado, the Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, and San Jose. I like Vito Mannone (MIN, $8.3) in goal at Houston and vs. Minnesota, and Ben Sweat (NYC, $4.5) as a cheap option in defense vs. both Toronto and San Jose. Stay with Alejandro Pozuelo (TOR, $9.6) in midfield at NYC and vs. Colorado, and go with Valentin Castellanos (NYC, $7.3) as a cheap forward option.
