The leader this round was MLS Trance, who Paul Oaken-fell into 167 points.

Make Amarikwa Great Again has reascended to the top of the league, holding a five-point lead.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers

Clint Irwin (COL, $4.1) posted a clean sheet on the way to 15 points, easily leading the position. Behind him, the duo of Tyler Miller (LA, $7.4), with a clean sheet, and Sean Johnson (NY, $6.0), with a saved penalty, tied with 10 points. DCU’s Bill Hamid ($6.9) scored 3 points.

Defenders

Leandro Gonzalez Pirez (ATL, $7.6) scored 17 points on a goal and a clean sheet, leading the defenders. Behind him, Robin Jansson (ORL, $7.2) put up a clean sheet and 15 points, and Graham Smith (SKC, $5.0) scored a goal on the way to 14 points. For United, Frederic Brillant ($8.1) led with 4 points, followed by Steven Birnbaum ($6.1) and Leonardo Jara ($6.7) with 3, and Joseph Mora ($4.7) with 2.

Midfielders

Minnesota’s Jan Gregus ($9.9) led the position with 19 goalless, assist-less points. Behind him, the duo of Nani (ORL, $8.7), with a goal, and Lassi Lappalainen (MTL, $8.0), with two goals and an assist, scored 15 points. The D.C. midfield was led by the pair of Junior Moreno ($5.5) and Felipe Martins ($6.4), the latter of whom managed to not commit an ejectable offense, with 5 points, followed by both Paul Arriola ($8.1) and Ulises Segura ($4.8) with 3, Lucas Rodriguez ($7.6) with 2, and both Luciano Acosta ($7.6) and Ema Boateng ($4.3) with 1 point.

Forwards

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (LAG, $11.3) scored four goals over two matches on the way to 29 points, leading all forwards and all players. Trailing him, Nemanja Nikolic (CHI, $7.4) scored three goals over two games for 22 points, and Diego Rubio (COL, $9.8) scored two goals and 17 points. For DCU, Wayne Rooney ($10.0) scored 6 points, and Ola Kamara ($8.6) scored 1.

Looking Ahead

Six teams play twice this round: New York, Columbus, DCU, the Red Bulls, LAFC, and San Jose. Those are some intriguing teams for double-game players. In goal, Daniel Vega (SJ, $5.1) is a money-saving option at LAFC (gulp) and vs. Vancouver. I like Alex Tinnerholm (NY, $8.0) in defense vs. Columbus and the Red Bulls, and Eduard Atuesta (LA, $12.6) in the midfield vs. San Jose and the Galaxy. Carlos Vela (LA, $14.5) is a no-brainer forward and captain option, with an honorable mention to Heber (NYC, $10.4).
