Hi, wait it got hot again? What the hell.
Recaps of D.C. United’s scoreless draw with the Chicago Fire by us, WaPo, Flo and MLS. Hot Time in Old Town with the Fiyurrrr side.
D.C. United, Zoltan Stieber agree to mutual termination (us): Makes sense.
Recap: Loudoun United defeats Louisville 3-0 (us): 3 players scoring their first pro goals against the two-time defending Champs. If you watch nothing else, watch Moses Nyeman’s sub appearance.
Loudoun United goalkeeper Calle Brown talks NoVA soccer culture, being a role model and more (Westgate Legal): Weird to see Loudoun do press but wattba and all.
A series of films that influenced the creation of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (Live for Film): So Quentin Tarantino has a new film out set in the months and days leading up to the Manson family murders, but it serves as a love letter to that era of Hollywood. It’s good, not great (in my opinion), worth check out nonetheless. The films that Tarantino cites as inspiration when writing the movie will be on Sony Movie Channel this coming month, and worth checking out more than the film that spawned it, but that’s another discussion.
Anyway, hope you have fun today.
