Soccer, go!

MLS: Leagues Cup-Tigres UANL at Real Salt Lake Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Hello from the beach! There was a whole heck of a lot of soccer last night, from friendlies, to NWSL, to the Canadian Championship, and the Leagues Cup. Let’s jump right into it:

Recap: Reserve-heavy D.C. United dismantled by Olympique Marseille - Black And Red United: D.C. United’s reserves had a time against Olympique Marseille, and that’s about all there is to say about that.

The Washington Spirit did a much better job against Sky Blue FC; our recap of this game is coming out later this morning.

D.C. United adds Gordon Wild, waives Akeem Ward - Black And Red United: D.C. United makes a swap, adding a forward and letting go a fullback. We are seeing the importance of the MLS SuperDraft evaporate before our eyes: Chris Odoi-Atsem is the only player drafted by D.C. United in the last three years to still be on the team.

U-17 MNT Continues World Cup Prep With 28-Player Training Camp In Carson, Calif.: Griffin Yow and Bryang Kayo are both on the roster for this training camp, which will go from July 26 through August 7. That means Yow will miss the games against the Chicago Fire and the Philadelphia Union.

Cat executes perfect run in the channel during RSL-Tigres Leagues Cup game | MLSsoccer.com: The cat was perfectly available for the pass, but nobody picked him out!

Recap: Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs. Cavalry 07/25/2019 | Matchcenter: The Canadian Premier League notches its first win over an MLS team.

That’s all I’ve got, what’s up?
