The first of three summer friendlies are behind us, and now D.C. United has another three games in a week stretch to launch us into the Gold Cup break. It will be a sudden stop to the season, though there will be a US Open Cup match in there somewhere, and a place to catch our breath and watch the USMNT play their first competitive games since the disaster in 2017.
Are you ready for it? Yeah, me neither.

And yes, D.C. United will have them as well!
From me and @samstejskal: Multiple sources say the #Rapids96 spoke with #USMNT assistant Josh Wolff regarding the coaching job, but Wolff unlikely to take it.

Rapids budget for coaching hire is limited, per sources. Could cause issues with the search.https://t.co/zU3fJpw5tx pic.twitter.com/TNG4Qrom2K
After getting his coaching start with D.C. United, Josh Wolff seems to be a quickly rising star in the coaching ranks. I would love to see him get a head coaching job, but Colorado right before his first Gold Cup on the USMNT staff was never gonna happen.
That’s all I’ve got. What’s up?
