The comments went on to be deleted by the Spirit, but they’ve certainly picked up traction, including this statement by the Spirit Squadron:

We’re working on some more surrounding this but at the moment, this news and the Spirit’s handling of same does not encourage.

So of that XI, 4 are under contract, 1 (Peabo Doue) essentially is, 3 are Academy alums, and one is another Honduras U20 player, who signed a contract with Necaxa a couple years ago. As far as initial rosters go, this one...isn’t bad?
