Happy Wednesday everyone. Before we dive into the soccer news, D.C. United’s Audi Field roommates unveiled their new look yesterday. Let’s take a look at the clean jerseys the XFL’s DC Defenders will be wearing next season:

Gimme gimme! Now, the news from yesterday:
FC Cincinnati revealed its new secondary jersey, and it’s basically the all white version of Bayern Munich’s current home jersey. I dunno why MLS is dead set on all teams having a plain white jersey with some trim, but here we are.
Only two players were selected in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft. Juan Agudelo went to Toronto FC, and Saad Abdul-Salaam went to FC Cincinnati.
Tyler Adams is back training for RB Leipzig. Hopefully, this means that his return to the field is coming really soon, both for Leipzig and for the United States.
Tim Howard retired this season after a stellar career, and now he’s moving into the front office for Memphis 901.
The president of La Liga resigned so that a new election could be triggered and he could run for a brand new 4-year term...all so he could be the guy to renegotiate the TV deals when they come up in a couple years. But, he’s the one that put La Liga on beIN in the U.S.
Marc Dos Santos of the Vancouver Whitecaps keeps it real and gets fined. He misspoke though...it’s a Calvinball league.
A breakdown of teams the USMNT should schedule for friendlies over the next couple of years.
Pawtucket, Rhode Island is the newest expansion city for the USL Championship. They’ll start up in 2022 in a brand new stadium.
Liga MX is lowering the number of foreign players allowed in a matchday 18 from 12 to 7 by 2022-2023. Could this open the door for even more internationals to come to MLS instead?
Enjoy Jay-Z Day, everyone!
