Fantasy Focus: The Final Round

Sometimes you gotta take a vacation

After a long season, we’ve arrived at the final round. Fortunately there’s a bit of drama at the top of the Classic League, as West Knox United, third place finisher in the spring season, holds a 12-point advantage over DagNRed at the top of the table. DagNRed is coming off of an 134-point round, which took 27 points off of the deficit and made this a fight going into the final regular season matches.

On Sunday DagNRed will be watching two scoreboards, as they’ve also made it to the finale of the Head-to-Head league, facing off against Far West Outlaws XI. Could DagNRed do the double?

Looking Ahead

FC Cincinnati have been shutout in their last two matches and scored just three times in their three prior contests. This is to say you should feel good about starting Bill Hamid (DCU, $8.6) at home. If you want to spend a little less than that, I like Stefan Frei (SEA, $7.1) at home against Minnesota. In defense, I like Eddie Segura (LA, $7.2) at home against Colorado, and Cristian Pavon (LAG, $11.5) looks like a great option in midfield at Houston. At forward, I like Jozy Altidore (TOR, $10.7) at home against Columbus.

Good luck everyone!
