The USWNT’s new coach, Dest commits to USA, and more: Freedom Kicks for 10/29/19

USA all day

Hey there, Freedom Kickers! It’s been an interesting last week for me—I was serving on a jury! It did leave me a bit out of the loop re: anything else going on in the world because I also had to try to fit in work in the evenings and had various social plans, BUT we have delivered our verdict and I am back to real life.

Also, I feel like I have become an expert in medical malpractice and spinal surgery. Have any of you ever served on a jury? Did you find it interesting? Parts of this were definitely kind of boring but overall I sort of...enjoyed it?

But you didn’t come here for my musings on the justice system. To the soccer!
