Cuba v United States - CONCACAF Nations League

Hi. I don’t have an intro, the last few days have been basura.

USA steamrolls Cuba 7-0 in Nations League debut (us): Yeehaw United States! SSFC, WaPo and MLS with more.

Washington Spirit hang on for 0-0 draw at Portland Thorns (us): The Spirit close out the season better than last year, and should improve on it on and off field in 2020. Stumptown Footy with more.

Las confesiones de Leonardo Jara a 10 meses de la final entre Boca y River en Madrid (infobae): The D.C. United fullback chats about that two-legged final.

Ulises Segura estuvo a media hora de conocer a Donald Trump (La Teja): In which Uli talks the White House Easter Egg roll, new kids and being one of the first D.C. players to meet Wayne Rooney.

Top 10 MLS center backs of all time (MLS): Can’t quibble too much on this order I guess.

Gameday Report: October 13, Week 32 (USL): I didn’t see this until very late, but Loudoun United has won their 3rd straight against superior competition yesterday. Ali Ndour...may be a player?

Amherst’s Aaron James returns to Massachusetts with top-ranked Virginia soccer squad (Gazzette Net): Not of any real note, but James played with D.C. and the Revs’ Academy systems, so these things do change.

The Improbable Staying Power of the ‘Waterworld’ Stunt Show (Thrillist): I was in the Army in Hawaii and found myself a couple miles away from where they were filming some of the stunts. Needless to say I remember some of the stuff here (Hollywood using all of Hawaii’s scrap metal was a good one that I remember), and the other note being a movie is usually never as bad or as good as when so many people says it’s the worst or best.

Anyway, go pour one for Kevin Costner today or something.
