With a score of 83 points, Zoltan! led this round:

It was helpful that Dominique Badji (COL, $8.1) and his hat trick for 17 points was one of the players substituted in because two inactive defenders were employed. MILLERtime When WYNNE’n leads by 47 points overall.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers

Matt Turner (NE, $5.7) led all goalkeepers with 11 points on the strength of a clean sheet. Behind him was a trio of keepers who all tallied a clean sheet and 9 points -- Evan Bush (MTL, $5.9), Tim Melia (SKC, $4.8), and Tim Howard (COL, $5.8). DCU’s David Ousted ($4.2) scored 4 points.

Defenders

Montreal’s Victor Cabrera ($6.7) posted a clean sheet on the way to 16 points, leading all defenders. Meanwhile, Tommy Smith (COL, $5.6) paired an assist with a clean sheet for 12 points, and Michael Parkhurst (ATL, $5.3) had a clean sheet and 11 points. The United defense was led by the pair of Frederic Brillant ($5.8) and Nick DeLeon ($5.4) with 5 points, and both Joseph Mora ($4.2) and Steve Birnbaum ($4.0) with 3 points.

Midfielders

Marc Rzatkowski (NYR, $8.1) had two assists on the way to a midfield-leading 13 points. Behind him, the pair of Sebastian Blanco (POR, $9.4) and Florian Valot (NYR, $5.5) each contributed a goal and an assist for 12 points. The D.C. midfield featured Yamil Asad ($8.1) with 4 points, followed by the pair of Ulises Segura ($6.4) and Luciano Acosta ($7.9) with 3 each, Paul Arriola ($5.7) with 2, and Zoltan Steiber ($6.6) with 1.

Forwards

Dominique Badji’s 17 points led all forwards and all players. Carlos Vela (LA, $11.0) scored two goals on the way to 15 points, and Dom Dwyer (ORL, $9.5) did the same for 13 points. DCU’s Darren Mattocks ($7.0) led with 2 points, while Dane Kelly ($5.7) and Patrick Mullins ($5.0) had 1 each.

Looking Ahead

While Toronto players may look appetizing at home against DCU, this game was moved to accommodate TFC’s CONCACAF Champions League match. So even though the players are still listed as having a match in Fantasy as of 4am ET Tuesday, they will not actually be playing. In goal, I’m in on Andre Blake (PHI, $7.5) at home against San Jose. In defense, I like the inexpensive David Horst (RSL, $4.8) assuming he plays at home against Vancouver, and Vako (SJ, $10.5) in midfield at Philadelphia. At forward, play Dom Dwyer at home against Portland.
