Breathe...it’s been a whirlwind 24 hours for D.C. United and it’s not over.

Happy Wednesday folks. I write this during a down period of D.C. United not making any changes to its roster....at least for now. Breathe everyone...let’s attempt to catch up before more changes come.

Report: D.C. United close to signing Russell Canouse | Black & Red United

Russell Canouse, the former United States U-20 defensive midfielder, who is on loan with VfL Bochum from Hoffenheim, is rumored to be joining the Black-and-Red ahead of the transfer deadline. While the team lost out on Inter Milan midfielder/defender Gary Medel, the 22-year-old Canouse would be another addition to the team’s younger, faster core that they are forming.

D.C. United trades Bobby Boswell to Atlanta United | Black & Red United

We say goodbye to Bobby Boswell, who was traded to Atlanta United today for a 2019 3rd round MLS SuperDraft pick. The former DCU captain will seek to help stabilize the Atlanta defense down the stretch.
