The Perry Kitchen transfer saga is only just beginning, and NASL owners acting like jerks

It’s 1am, and all I have on my mind is a subject I’ve talked about here a lot: breakfast sandwiches. I am looking at making a bacon, egg, and cheese (Muenster, specifically) on an English muffin, with sriracha and diced avocado. It’s going to be great. I kind of want to just stay up and make it now.

The Washington Spirit’s Mallory Pugh (it’s still weird to type that out) is on the latest USWNT roster. Sydney Leroux is back for the first time since her pregnancy, while Abby Dahlkemper and Jaelene Hinkle from the NWSL-leading North Carolina Courage are in the squad too.

Whitecaps shuffle options for replacing suspended Laba | The Province
Ahead of D.C. United’s game against the Whitecaps tomorrow, Carl Robinson is playing coy about what he’ll do replace the suspended Matias Laba. Briefly, you can pretty much bet on Andrew Jacobson dropping into his spot, and the issue is whether it’ll be Christian Bolaños (which would mean adding a new winger), Nicolas Mezquida, or Russell Teibert in Jacobson’s spot.

Late Andre-Pierre Gignac brace denies Chivas win in Liga MX Final first leg | FMF State of Mind

Cosmos Country Drops Coverage of Team | Empire of Soccer
Rocco Commisso may have saved the Cosmos, but his actions since then have illustrated why leagues and clubs may have avoided sounding him out as an owner. The short version of this is that Cosmos ownership and/or front office is alleged to have offered up unspecified threats to the This Is Cosmos Country podcast, who are now stepping away from covering the team at all.

You can now be buried in a coffin of Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium | FourFourTwo
Personally I would have wanted my ashes scattered at RFK, but it looks like I’m going to live long enough to where the stadium won’t exist. So that’s good for me, I guess.

And now that I’ve once again brought up my demise, it’s time to start the weekend!
