World Cup qualifying in the CONCACAF Hexagonal continues this evening, with Mexico hosting Costa Rica and Panama traveling to take on Trinidad & Tobago. Mexico is looking to take over first place in the Hex with a victory over the Ticos, who are currently atop the standings with victories over Trinidad & Tobago and the United States. This will be El Tri’s first match at home in the Hex, and they will be looking to defend Estadio Azteca and secure 3 points. The Ticos will be attempting to leave Azteca with a victory without the services of D.C. United striker Jose Ortiz, who did not make the trip with the team to Mexico City.

Panama, tied with Mexico in the standings with 4 points, will look to keep pace by getting 3 points from the basement-dwelling Soca Warriors. Trinidad, on their second coach since losing their first two Hex matches back in November, will look to captain Kenwyne Jones to lead the team to a result.
