MLS Power Rankings, Week 20: Busy busy busy

It was a busy week in MLS...let's see who's on top of the Power Rankings and which teams are fighting to stay close.

Breathe folks...it's hot outside and so was the action this past week in MLS. The busiest week of the season thus far, Week 20 saw 16 matches, and each of them carried some flavor. We had some explosive outputs (what's up Seattle), we had some slugfests (take a bow, Philadelphia and Red Bull), and we had some terrible editions of soccer (looking at you RSL and New England). In all, 41 soccer balls hit the back of the net during the week's matches, and there were some hot performances sure to give some teams hope as we carry on through the dog days of summer.

What's next? Another full slate of matches. Some of the separation has lessened and it's still anyone's Supporters Shield to grab. We'll see if Colorado and Dallas can still keep the rest of the league in their rearview mirrors, or if someone like NYCFC, LA or Philadelphia can gain some momentum and catch up. Can our beloved Black-and-Red and other teams hovering near the bottom do something to make up ground? These next few weeks will be crucial for those teams.

Now, let's hear from you. Comments are up, so let's hear what you have to say about the state of the standings going forward.
