We are now into Group D of the Copa America, and they feature one of the two big powerhouses of South America: Argentina. Argentina will be without Lionel Messi for this game, who continues to recover from a back injury, but the top ranked team in the world still has plenty of firepower. However, there is pressure on the team due to the fact that they haven't won a major trophy since 1993.
Chile have long been a darling to fans of attacking soccer, with head coaches like Marcelo Bielsa and Jorge Sampaoli, and they are the defending champions of Copa America. The number five ranked team in the world comes in with a bevy of talent, and Arturo Vidal and company can go toe-to-toe with Argentina. If there is one game to stay up for this week, it is probably this one.

In the early game this evening, Panama takes on Bolivia. If there is a winner in this game, that team could play the role of spoiler or darkhorse to either Argentina or Chile; a draw makes it much harder for either of these teams to get out of the group, regardless of the result in the late game.
Panama is a well-known adversary to the USMNT, and features many MLS players: Blas Perez, Anibal Godoy, and Alberto Quintero. They often play a defensive and physical style against the top teams of Concacaf, so it will be interesting to see what they do against one of the worst teams in CONMEBOL.
