The last days of the Copa America Centenario roll on, and there is everything to play for in Group B. Brazil and Peru are tied at the top of the group on points, but Brazil have a massive edge in goal differential after dismantling Haiti 7-1. A win by either team puts them through to the next round, and the losing team is in grave danger of being passed by Ecuador in the event that they beat Haiti in the early game. Peru in particular are going to have to try and take the game to Brazil, because anything less than a win leaves them in a very perilous position.
However, they will already know what they need to do at kickoff; if Ecuador somehow loses or draws with Haiti, the late game is meaningless for who goes through.
USA fans will also want to pay attention to these two games; they face the second place team in this group in the quarterfinals. A win by Brazil would mean that the earliest the USMNT could face them would be in the finals. Hope you have enjoyed today’s matches in Euro 2016, and that you enjoy your nightcap of Copa America.
