Filibuster podcast episode 184: We're already in trouble

A mixed performance is wiped away, and we look towards the weekend for some hope

Have no fear, your weekly recommended dose of Filibuster is here. Jason, Ben, and Adam are back to talk about D.C. United and hope that things get better. We talk about D.C. United's 1-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union, and have to start with the goal that did them in. We talk about how the team has no natural finishers on it, and talk for far too long about the non-issue that was Luciano Acosta being subbed off. We talk about Alvaro Saborio and Steve Birnbaum being called up and what that will mean for United, and then talk about the transfer rumors swirling around Birnbaum.

We then move onto this Friday's (yes, three Fridays in a row) game against Sporting Kansas City. We discuss whether or not this is the same old Sporks team, and whether Peter Vermes' shouty message is beginning to fall on deaf ears. We talk about the players that they will be missing for the Copa America, what their game plan will be, and whether or not they can beat D.C. United on set pieces. Give it a listen!
