Neither the Spirit nor their opponent this Sunday, Western New York Flash, boast many USWNT regulars but three Flash players were named to Ellis' most recent roster along with the Spirit's Crystal Dunn. Ali Krieger wasn't named along with several USWNT regulars such as Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe since Ellis has indicated she is using this camp to test out some new blood (an odd but welcome phrase when it concerns the USWNT) and looks towards the 2019 World Cup.
