Our overall leader also sat atop the scoreboard for the round, as Poor Man's Porales tallied 123 points. Kei Kamara (CLB, $9.5) led with 30 points on two goals, aided by the captain's armband. Both Robbie Keane (LA, $11.6) and Ethan Finlay (CLB, $9.0) scored 17 points -- Keane with two goals, and Finlay with one goal and an assist.
Positional Leaders
Goalkeepers
Steve Clark (CLB, $5.7) played twice and scored 12 points with one clean sheet. Behind him, Clint Irwin (COL, $5.3) earned a clean sheet of his own on the way to 9 points. Four players scored 8 points -- Sean Johnson (CHI, $5.4), Brad Knighton (NE, $4.9), Luis Robles (NYR, $5.5), and Jeff Attinella (RSL, $5.1). Johnson played twice, and the rest earned clean sheets. For DCU, Andrew Dykstra ($5.1) earned 4 points.
Defenders
The Columbus back line dominated the scoring among defenders, as the top four were all Crew players who earned a clean sheet. Waylon Francis ($6.4) added an assist to lead with 13 points, while Michael Parkhurst ($7.8) scored 12, Tyson Wahl ($6.0) scored 11, and Chad Barson ($4.9) scored 10 while adding an assist. United's defense was led by Taylor Kemp ($7.8) with 3 points, followed by Steve Birnbaum ($7.8) and Bobby Boswell ($9.5) who scored 2 each, and Chris Korb ($5.6) with 1 point.
Midfielders
Ethan Finlay's 17 points led the position, and shared the lead among all players. Javier Morales (RSL, $11.7) scored 15 points with a goal and an assist. Three players tied with 12 points -- Steve Gerrard (LA, $10.2), Dax McCarty (NYR, $8.4), and Benny Feilhaber (SKC, $10.4) -- Gerrard and Feilhaber each tallied a goal and an assist, while McCarty had two assists. For United, Nick DeLeon ($6.4) led with 3 points, followed by a quartet of 2-point scorers -- Davy Arnaud ($6.5), Perry Kitchen ($7.5), Chris Rolfe ($9.2), and Miguel Aguilar ($4.9). Markus Halsti ($7.0) and Facundo Coria ($7.0) each scored 1 point.
Forwards
Robbie Keane's 17 points tied him for the overall lead, and Kei Kamara's 15 points were good for second among forwards. Joao Plata (RSL, $9.5) and San Jose new man Quincy Amarikwa ($7.0) each scored 12 points, with Plata contributing a goal and an assist, and Amarikwa contributing a brace. D.C. was led by Conor Doyle ($5.3) with 2 points, followed by Jairo Arrieta ($6.3) with 1.
Looking Ahead
Colorado and the Red Bulls are on bye, and everyone else plays once this week with games starting on Friday. Portland hasn't scored in their last two road matches (and three of their last four), so think about Dan Kennedy (DAL, $4.9) in goal at home against the Timbers, and try on Tyrone Mears (SEA, $7.1) in the back at Montreal. Keep riding Ethan Finlay in midfield as Columbus faces the accommodating road Toronto defense, and you should probably do the same with Robbie Keane and his two straight weeks of 17 points, on the road against Houston.
