Fantasy Focus: A-L-L-E-N and Bingham was his name-o

Two men share the spoils.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

With just a two-point edge over the next closest team, Look Ma, No Hands scored 97 points to lead the round, and no darlin' I don't dance. Captain Pedro Morales (VAN, $11.4) led the way with 28 points on a goal and an assist. Omar Gonzalez (LA, $9.7) scored 13 points with a clean sheet over two games, and Kei Kamara (CLB, $8.8) scored two goals and 12 points. Poor Man's Porales still leads overall.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers

David Bingham (SJ, $5.2) scored 18 points with a clean sheet and a saved penalty over two games to lead the position and share the lead among all players. Nick Rimando (RSL, $6.3) duplicated Bingham's feat over two games to score 15 points of his own, and Jaime Penedo (LA, $6.2) earned a clean sheet over two games for 13 points. D.C.'s Bill Hamid ($6.4) scored 4 points.

Defenders

Jordan Allen (RSL, $5.2) earned two clean sheets and contributed two assist over two games for 18 points, the positional lead, and is the other co-leader among all players. Allen's teammate Demar Phillips ($7.1) earned a clean sheet in his two games for 14 points. Omar Gonzalez finished third with his 13 points. United's defense featured Bobby Boswell ($9.3) with 4 points, and the trio of Sean Franklin ($8.2), Kofi Opare ($5.1), and Chris Korb ($5.6) with 3 points.

Midfielders

Pedro Morales led the midfielders with his 14 points. A trio of players tied for second with 12 points -- Oscar Boniek Garcia (HOU, $8.6), Matias Perez Garcia (SJ, $8.2), and Clint Dempsey (SEA, $11.8). Dempsey scored two goals, Boniek scored a goal and missed a penalty, and Perez had an assist. For DCU, Perry Kitchen ($7.6) and Chris Pontius ($7.0) led with 6 points each, Nick DeLeon ($6.4) scored 3, Chris Rolfe ($8.9) scored 2, and each of Davy Arnaud ($6.5), Luis Silva ($8.5), Miguel Farfan ($6.4) and Miguel Aguilar ($6.4) each scored 1 point.

Forwards

Bradley Wright-Phillips (NYR, $11.3) scored two goals and 13 points to lead all of the forwards. Kei Kamara's 12 points were good for second, and Chris Wondolowski (SJ, $10.9) scored a goal and 10 points over two games. Jairo Arrieta ($6.5) was the only United forward to score, with 7 points.

Looking Ahead

United and Orlando are the only teams playing twice, while everyone else plays once. D.C. and Orlando play on Wednesday night. I would say that Bill Hamid and Kaka (ORL, $11.3) are the musts for D.C. and Orlando respectively. Hamid's other game is at Philadelphia, and Orlando hosts LA. Otherwise I would go with Nick Rimando in goal at impotent Montreal, and sure, pair him with Jordan Allen because he's cheap. In midfield, Mauro Diaz (DAL, $9.5) has 32 points in his last three games, and he's at home against the Metros. At forward, Dom Dwyer (SKC, $10.6) has two goals in three games, and he's at home against Colorado.

Everyone's Adding: G - Bill Hamid (+549), D - Kofi Opare (+629), M - Chris Rolfe (+472), F - Cyle Larin (ORL, $5.7, +241)

Everyone's Dropping: G - Chris Seitz (DAL, $4.9, -455), D - Steven Beitashour (VAN, $7.5, -405), M - Jose Villareal (LA, $6.3, -388), F - Chris Wondolowski (-130)
