Two teams shared the points lead this round, as (~^-^)~umad?~(^-^~) and Korb Limey both scored 64 points. The high scorer for both teams was Kei Kamara (CLB, $8.4,) who scored 10 points on a goal and an assist. They both also used Lloyd Sam (NYR, $8.9,) who contributed two assists for 9 points. For (~^-^)~umad?~(^-^~), two more players scored 9 points -- Justin Meram (CLB, $7.8) with a goal, and Josh Saunders (NY, $5.6) who did nothing of note over two games. For Korb Limey, Khiry Shelton (NY, $5.5) tallied an assist over two games for 9 points of his own. Poor Man's Porales leads overall by 43 points.
Positional Leaders
Goalkeepers
Josh Saunders shared the positional lead with David Ousted (VAN, $5.5), who earned a clean sheet and 9 points. Two players tied with 8 points -- Luis Robles (NYR, $5.6) and Adam Kwarasey (POR, $5.4), each of whom earned clean sheets. D.C.'s Andrew Dykstra ($5.0) scored 6 points.
Defenders
Determined to drive me insane, seven defenders shared the positional lead with 8 points this week. Five of them earned clean sheets -- Emanuel Pogatetz (CLB, $6.5,) Matt Miazga (NYR, $5.6,) Kemar Lawrence (NYR, $6.1), Liam Ridgewell (POR, $8.3,) and Nat Borchers (POR, $7.9) -- while Chris Wingert (NY, $7.0) played in two games, and Nick Hagglund (TOR, $5.8) contributed an assist. United were led in the back by Sean Franklin ($8.0) with 4 points, followed by Bobby Boswell ($9.1) with 3, and both Taylor Kemp ($7.5) and Kofi Opare ($5.0) with 2.
Midfielders
Fabian Castillo (DAL, $10.0) and Lamar Neagle (SEA, $8.6) each tallied a brace and 13 points to share the midfield lead. Three players tied for third with 12 points -- Felipe Martins (NYR, $8.3,) who scored 7 attacking bonus points; Cristian Maidana (PHI, $8.6,) who tallied a goal and an assist over two games; and Sebastian Giovinco (TOR, $11.4,) who scored a brace. Chris Rolfe's ($8.7) 7 points led the DCU midfield. Far behind was the trio of Davy Arnaud ($6.6,) Chris Pontius ($7.0,) and Michael Farfan ($6.4,) who each scored two points. Four more players earned just one point -- Nick DeLeon ($6.4,) Perry Kitchen ($7.6,) Luis Silva ($8.5,) and Miguel Aguilar ($5.0).
Forwards
Federico Higuain (CLB, $10.3) ate Orlando City raw like sushi with 15 points on a goal and an assist for the positional and overall lead. Kei Kamara's 10 points were equaled by Blas Perez (DAL, $9.5), who scored a goal with an assist. D.C.'s Jairo Arrieta ($6.4) scored 1 point.
Looking Ahead
Montreal and San Jose are on by this week, which is ridiculous because, even though it's for the CCL Final, Montreal will have played just four times in eight rounds after this upcoming weekend. Every other team plays once. In goal, I like David Ousted at home against DCU, which is obviously a reverse jinx... or is it? In defense, try on Hernan Grana (CLB, $6.6) as Columbus hosts Philadelphia, and Fabian Castillo in midfield on the road against Colorado. At forward, Kei Kamara should be your man.
With adds and drops no longer affecting player salaries, there no longer is the rush of activity once the transfer window opens, as managers tried to get in/out on players before their prices changed to much. At the time of writing, there was not significant movement to sustain Everyone's Adding or Everyone's Dropping. Check back next week.
