Peruvian journalist Victor Zaferson seems to indicate that D.C. United may have quietly brought in another player for training and/or trial purposes. If the name sounds familiar to a few of you, it is because Condor spent time in the Academy, playing next to Bill Hamid and Andy Najar for a time before deciding to sign internationally with Alianza Lima in the Peruvian First Division. He spent time within Peru some more with Union Comercio and is currently out of contract, and with Condor next to former Academy mates like Hamid and Collin Martin and current Academy players Jorge Calix and Eryk Williamson

Condor is slightly small for his size (listed at 5'7"), so this may harken back to the days of Franco Niell, though it should be said that he does have dual citizenship, so an international spot would not have to be used. Additionally and at last check, D.C. United may need a person or two to spell the suspended Fabian Espindola and the convalescing Eddie Johnson, listed as a midfielder-forward, as you'll see below, it tends to be more the former.

Oh and would you believe that, there is a sizzle reel.Tune in at the 1:29 mark for what appears to be a young Collin Martin.
