And now it is time to finally close the book on the 2014 season, with the results of the 2014 Benny Awards. After such a successful season all of the players deserve congratulations, but these are the players who deserve special recognition. Congratulations to all the winners!

The Richie Award: Presented to the most underrated player. 2014 winner: Taylor Kemp, with 46% of the vote

The Nelly Award: Presented to the best newcomer. 2014 winner: Fabian Espindola, with 44% of the vote

The Andy Award: Presented to United's rookie of the year. 2014 winner: Steve Birnbaum, by unanimous consent

The Donnety Award: Presented to the team's biggest disappointment. 2014 winner: Eddie Johnson, with 52% of the vote

The Bobby Award: Presented to the most improved player. 2014 winner: Taylor Kemp, with 63% of the vote

The Esky Award: Presented to the fan favorite. 2014 winner: Chris Rolfe, with 39% of the vote

The Popie Award - Presented to the team's defender of the year. 2014 winner: Bobby Boswell, with 48% of the vote
