After a wild day of soccer in yesterday's World Cup action, the group stage continues ever onwards. And as if three games yesterday weren't enough, the weekends give you four games! So get comfortable, and join your friends here at Black and Red United in watching all of today's action.

Colombia vs. Greece

Kickoff time: 12:00 PM EDT

Venue: Estadio Mineirao, Belo Horizonte

TV/Streaming: ABC and WatchESPN for English-language, Univision and Univision online for Spanish-language.

Cliff's notes: This was supposed to be Colombia's breakout tournament, making it in for the first time since 1998 and considered, by many, to be a darkhorse to make a deep run into the knockout rounds. However, an knee injury that knocked key striker Radamel Falcao out of the World Cup has also hurt Colombia's chances considerably. Greece is the Greece you come to expect over the past 10 years: defensively rigid and offensively cautious.

Who should I root for? Colombia, because Greece are boring. It is really that simple.

Uruguay vs. Costa Rica

Kickoff time: 3:00 PM EDT

Venue: Estadio Castelao, Fortaleza

TV/Streaming: ABC and WatchESPN for English-language, Univision and Univision online for Spanish-language.

Cliff's notes: Oft-overlooked Uruguay is still overlooked, especially with continent-mates Brazil and Argentina tipped as favorites to win the tournament. But in this tough group, look for Luis Suarez to prove the difference (and flummox English players) down the road. However, they absolutely must run up the score against Costa Rica to have a chance to move on. Though it has been said everywhere, it remains true: the team that drops points against Costa Rica will be the time to not make it out of Group D.

Who should I root for? It probably depends on your other team loyalties. If you don't like Luis Suarez, then root for the underdog in Costa Rica. If you like watching Suarez play (and/or you don't want to see England get out of the group), then root for Uruguay.

England vs. Italy

Kickoff time: 6:00 PM EDT

Venue: Arena Amazônia, Manaus

TV/Streaming: ESPN and WatchESPN for English-language, Univision and Univision online for Spanish-language.

Cliff's notes: The first game to be played in Manaus will be watched closely by the United States, if only for insight into field conditions. Both teams come into this tournament with less expectations that normal, which may allow them both (and especially England) to play a more attractive game. Plus, this game has Mario Balotelli, so you always have to watch.

Who should I root for? Italy, because this will be Andrea Pirlo's last tournament, and because the wailing of the English press is always hilarious.

Ivory Coast vs. Japan

Kickoff time: 9:00 PM EDT

Venue: Arena Pernambuco, Recife

TV/Streaming: ESPN and WatchESPN for English-language, Univision and Univision online for Spanish-language.

Cliff notes: Is this finally the time that Ivory Coast get out of the group stage? This is probably the easiest group that Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure, and Kolo Toure have been given, and so its now or never. But against those three stand Keisuke Honda, Shinji Kagawa, and the rest of the Japanese team. Their story is similar to the United States': professional league founded in the 1990s, rapid ascension into prominence in their region, and always a threat to make the knockout rounds.

Who should I root for? Despite wanting to root for Ivory Coast out of sentiment, the Japanese are a fun team to watch.

As always, this is your all-day spot for pre-game, in-game, between-game, and post-game chatter.
