D.C. United versus Houston Dynamo TV/streaming, lineup, previews, prediction and gamethread

In what might be a rainy evening, D.C. United takes on the Houston Dynamo.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

D.C. United takes on their old nemesis, the Houston Dynamo, tonight in what looks to be a rainy match at RFK Stadium. While not necessarily a rivalry, the games between these two teams are always hard-fought and usually end up involving some controversy.

Time: 7:00 PM EDT

Venue: Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, Washington, D.C.

TV/Streaming: For those who are not in the stadium, you can listen to the dulcet tones of Dave Johnson and Santino Quaranta on CSN-MA. Outside of the greater Washington area, you can watch on MLS Live.

Projected D.C. United starting XI: With Eddie Johnson's suspension and the need to rotate the squad with three games in a week, predicting the lineup is difficult. However, I will go with Bill Hamid in goal, with Chris Korb, Bobby Boswell, Jeff Parke, and Christian in front of him. The midfield will consist of Nick DeLeon, Perry Kitchen, Lewis Neal, and Chris Rolfe, with Conor Doyle and Fabian Espindola up top.

Previews: Our StoryStream for this game has all of the relevant information, including our episode of Filibuster, lineup projections, predictions, and the Best Damn Scouting Report Ever (TM). For more preview action, see Dynamo Theory, D.C. United's website, and the Dynamo's website for more.

Prediction: I am never very confident about games against Houston, so I will go with a 2-1 loss for DCU. Please, prove me wrong.

What are you drinking? I have no idea, as my larder is now empty and I will have to pick up something on the way home. Any suggestions?
