Richmond Kickers versus Charleston Battery: Streaming, lineup, previews, prediction and gamethread

Once D.C. United is done, there is still more soccer to watch: the Richmond Kickers take on the Charleston Battery at 7:30 PM.

After the D.C. United game is over, soccer isn't over for the day. You can watch the Richmond Kickers and D.C. United loanees take on both United's and Richmond's fiercest USL PRO rival: the Charleston Battery. The Kickers and the Battery are two of the most successful lower-division teams in modern US soccer history, and the games between them are always a battle.

Time: 7:30 PM EDT

Venue: Blackbaud Stadium, Charleston, SC

Streaming: New for 2014, all USL PRO games will be streamed live on YouTube, which means that replay will be available right after the game.

Projected Richmond Kickers starting XI: This is even more of a crapshoot than normal, since there have been no regular season games yet and the D.C. United loanees were not available for most of the preseason. However, I shall endevour to predict anyways. Joe Willis will start in goal, with Alex Lee, Henry Kalungi, William Yomby, and Sascha Goerres in front of him. Mike Callahan and Luke Vercollone will be in defensive midfield, with Christiano Francois, Collin Martin, and George Davis IV in front of them. Michael Seaton will get the start up top.

Prediction: On the road, first game of the season, and a new team coming together: I saw a 1-1 draw sounds about right.

What are you drinking? I will be drinking the Get Bent Mountain IPA by Parkway Brewers here in Virginia. What about you?

As always, this is your place for pre-game, in-game, and post-game chatter.
