Filibuster Podcast: 2013 MLS SuperDraft Preview with Travis Clark

The boys ring in 2013 with Travis Clark of Top Drawer Soccer and his take on the upcoming MLS SuperDraft. There's also some news up-rounding, and Sepp Blatter opens his big, stupid mouth.

From everybody at B&RU and Filibuster, Happy New Year, ladies and gents. We've got our first podcast episode of 2013 ready for download, and we think it's a good one.

There's not a whole lot of news happening during this quietest part of the year, so after a short news round-up, we look at the latest stupid stuff coming out of Sepp Blatter's pie hole. The real draw from this week's offering, though, is youth and college soccer journalist extraordinaire Travis Clark from Top Drawer Soccer. Travis helps us figure out who D.C. United will be targeting with the #17 pick in this month's MLS SuperDraft and also goes over the top prospects coming out of college this winter. Finally, we look at some United Academy products who are getting U.S. Youth National Team looks and assess their chances of signing homegrown deals in the next couple years (spoiler: United may want to sign them sooner than later or else watch them decamp for Europe).

As always, we want to thank you all for listening and encourage you to get in touch in the comments or on Twitter, @FilibusterDCU, or by emailing us at filibusterpodcast [at] gmail [dot] com.
