GameThread 20: D.C. United Vs. Columbus Crew

It wasn't long ago that D.C. United lost to the Columbus Crew. In fact, it was the last MLS match that United played, and the disappointment from it is still ringing in our ears. The United players could have done better, and they know it. Now it's time to show it. D.C. hasn't lost at RFK since March. The team doesn't expect that streak to end tonight.

Game time: 7:30 PM

Television: Comcast SportsNet

Projected starting lineup: Based on what we've heard out of practice this week, Long Tan may get his first start of his young United career after turning in a promising performance in Columbus. In that match, Tan did well to get in dangerous positions. If he can be a bit more clinical inside the box, Ben Olsen could have a star on his hands. Dwayne De Rosario will be next to Tan at forward, with Chris Pontius and Nick DeLeon occupying the wings. A healthy Branko Boskovic will return to the starting lineup just in front of Perry Kitchen, and a healthy Emiliano Dudar will also return next to Brandon McDonald, with Daniel Woolard and Chris Korb on the outside, and Bill Hamid in goal.

Prediction: It's revenge time, you guys. Pontius and De Rosario won't be shut out twice in a row, especially not with Boskovic serving them up. 2-0 United.

What are you drinking? I don't often drink Bud Light Lime, mostly because its Bud Light, but also because its Lime. But I was at a 30th birthday party today with a keg of it, so that's what I drank.
