Your favorite independent D.C. United podcast is back for the second straight week, and we've got a great show for you this week. In the first half of the show, we look at the U.S. Men's National Team and their World Cup Qualifying wins over Antigua & Barbuda and over Guatemala. The wins, of course, secured the U.S.A.'s berth in the fabled Hexagonal, the final round of CONCACAF qualifying for Brazil 2014. We hit on the good performances of Michael Bradley, Danny Williams and Eddie Johnson. It's not all roses for Clint Dempsey & Co., though; we also talk about the flaws of Jermaine Jones and Carlos Bocanegra. It must be a credit to Jurgen Klinsmann that we don't even mention Jozy Altidore. We also preview the Hex, which doesn't even start till next year - let nobody tell you we procrastinate here at Filibuster and B&RU.
In the second half of the show, we're joined by the fantastic Patrick Guldan, Managing Editor of Massive Report, SB Nation's Columbus Crew blog. Patrick was a great sport on the show and gave us the best scouting report of the Crew you're going to find this side of Columbus.
As always, thanks for listening and please to enjoy.
