GameThread 27: D.C. United Vs. Chivas USA

For the second time in 11 days, DC United meets Chivas USA in a key match with playoff implications for D.C. In the first meeting, Charlie Davies notched three goals in a dominating performance from United. If they can match that effort tonight at RFK Stadium, the playoffs will seem much closer than they did in Seattle just four days ago.

Game time: 7:30 PM

Television: Comcast SportsNet

Starting Lineup: Ben Olsen has opted to use his best lineup of healthy players, which is a change from the side put out against the Seattle Sounders this past weekend. That means that Bill Hamid, Santino Quaranta, and Josh Wolff will all return to the starting lineup. Davies will join Wolff up top, while Andy Najar, Clyde Simms, and Dwayne De Rosario will retain their roles in the midfield. The defense that allowed a disappointing total of three goals in Seattle will remain unchanged, with Perry Kitchen, Ethan White, Brandon McDonald, and Daniel Woolard in front of Hamid.
