We've already pointed out that there seem to be major flaws in the 2011 MLS All-Star Game roster. Tonight we get to find out if those concerns are founded as the All-Stars take on Manchester United at Red Bull Arena.
Game time: 8:30 PM
TV: ESPN2
Projected starting lineup: With Landon Donovan out, Hans Backe is left with only 21 players to choose from for his starting lineup. Who will start though? All I can say for sure is that it won't be Matt Besler. I think we're most likely going to see Tally Hall in goal for the first half, with Bobby Convey, Tim Ream, Jamison Olave, and Heath Pearce along the backline. I'm predicting that we'll see David Beckham, Shalrie Joseph, Jack Jewsbury, and Brad Davis in the midfield, with Thierry Henry and Chris Wondolowski up top.
This game might not matter for much, but if you're looking for a place to talk about it (or make fun of it) with your fellow D.C. United fans, you've found it.
