Black And Red United, a D.C. United community

Tomorrow at 5pm, the Richmond Kickers are having a town hall meeting, primarily for parents, about what the new 10 month schedule will mean for people who participate in one of the 78 US Soccer Development Academy teams. Being B&RU's southern correspondent, I've decided to attend and see how this will affect youth development in the not only in Richmond, but across the US. The changes that are happening here are happening with D.C. United's academy too, and so I particularly want to see how involved US Soccer is with the details of the academy system. The Kickers have also graciously allowed me some time with their head coach Leigh Cowlishaw. So, what I really want to know is this: what questions do you all have about the development academy system? I'll try to ask as many as I can and report back on Monday.
