Recently there was talk of Jurgen Klinsmann developing a U-21 team, to the point of doing a camp in Carson. Now, we learn not only will such a camp take place April 20-24, but D.C. United midfielder Collin Martin will be part of it. The camp group, which includes MLS regulars as Shane O'Neill, Luis Gil and Wil Trapp, is "set up to form a core group of players that will make up the majority of the Under-23 Men’s National Team that will attempt to qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil."
While it's not time in Richmond (to Ben's dismay) and not time at D.C. (to other's dismay), that he is on the radar among this group should prove to be some benefit. What say you?
