Remember that friendly fellow on the Twitter who suited up for the Black-and-Red several times in the second half of the 2012 season? Well, after being released by DC United this offseason, he's signed with third-tier side Orlando City FC. Coincidently, Orlando City is affiliated with Eastern Conference foes Sporting KC.

Tan signed with DC United on June 28, 2012 for a first-round 2015 Supplemental Draft pick (aka for free) from the Vancouver Whitecaps. In six appearances for United he scored one goal in a 4-2 victory against the Chicago Fire. Tan has spent time in the lower divisions of the American soccer pyramid having spent a season with NASL side Tampa Bay Rowdies (then FC Tampa Bay) and with the PDL team Atlanta Blackhawks.

It's possible that Tan could face his last employer as United head to Orando, Florida this weekend to begin the Disney Pro Soccer Classic which Orlando City are taking part of. While DC and Orlando City are in two separate groups, if the stars align correctly Tan could be facing a very familiar foe.
