In this week's episode of Filibuster - the Black & Red United Podcast, we talk about the new reserve league partnership between MLS and USL Pro, we revisit D.C. United's college draft season, and we try to get a handle on Andy Najar's transfer situation.
At the end of a big, big news week in MLS circles, the Filibuster gang got together (via Skype, naturally) to cover damn near all of it - or as much as we could without maxing out our monthly time allowance. This week, we talk about the Richmond Kickers, D.C. United's new affiliates in USL Pro, the third tier of the American soccer pyramid. We also look back at the MLS SuperDraft and Supplemental Draft, where United got a couple of promising new players and Toronto FC got lots and lots of Monopoly money. Finally, we turn our attention to Andy Najar and his time on trial and on loan with the Belgian champions, RSC Anderlecht, which will end at the end of this month (unless it doesn't).
As always, thanks so much for listening, and we and to encourage you to get in touch with us in the comments or on Twitter, @FilibusterDCU, or by emailing us at filibusterpodcast [at] gmail [dot] com.
