Ben Olsen Named MLS All Star Game Head Coach

The one and only Ben Olsen has been named the head coach of the MLS All Star game, which will feature MLS versus Chelsea on July 25 at 8:30 pm. His assistants will be John Hackworth, the new Philadelphia Union coach, as well as Pat Onstad, Chad Ashton, and Sonny Silooy, his D.C. United assistants. (Josh Wolff didn't rate as a player-coach?!) While United's performance so far this season has some to do with the decision, Nelson Rodriguez also said that the fact that United is close by and that they do not have a game the weekend after played a role. Regardless, congrats to Olsen and his staff for an honor well earned!
