D.C. United is off today, and it happens to be effing beautiful outside across the mid-Atlantic. But if you manage to find a good excuse to get out of doing yard work or just really hate the sun and all social forms of entertainment, the MLS has you covered with a full slate of games to watch, all of which would go well with green beer. Unfortunately though, none of them are televised today, so you'll have to get yourself an MLS Live account.
Here's the full MLS schedule for Week 2:
3/17 at 2:00 PM: Montreal Impact vs. Chicago Fire - The MLS debut of Olympic Stadium in Montreal also features the 2012 debut of the Fire. Look for the Impact to come out swinging in what should be an electric atmosphere in front of over 50,000 fans. The Fire are my sleeper pick to win the Eastern Conference, so this will be a good early test for them.
3/17 at 8:30 PM: Sporting Kansas City vs. New England Revolution - This tweet from Clyde Simms basically prompts me to forgive the Sporks for beating United last Saturday. Well in, KC fans. Please post the photos.
3/17 at 10:00 PM: Real Salt Lake vs. New York Red Bulls - Tough start to the beginning of the season for New York, with visits to Dallas and now the RioT in its first two weeks. Its going to be so awesome when both the Red Bulls and LA Galaxy start out with 0-2-0 records!
3/17 at 10:00 PM: Seattle Sounders vs. Toronto FC
3/18 at 4:00 PM - Philadelphia Union vs. Colorado Rapids - You can catch this one on NBC Sports, as its very possible that the Union will also begin the season with two straight losses.
3/18 at 7:00 PM - LA Galaxy vs. D.C. United - Watch it on Galavision while you listen to your four favorite United fans discuss the match live.
